Non-Fasting Health Screening Explained

You can now skip your fasting routine and opt for a health screening slot anytime of the day.

Non-Fasting tests are just as accurate, and studies have shown no significant differences between fasted and non-fasted blood cholesterol. Diabetes screening is done using the HbA1c test.

Non-Fasting option is however not suitable for individuals with anemia, as well as those considering abdominal ultrasound tests as fasting is still required.

You may simply click on Book an Appointment to select your preferred package, date and time. Our Home-Based Health Screening Team will contact you shortly after your booking is confirmed.

What do I need to prepare for Home-Based Health Screening?

Drinking of plain water is encouraged, no fasting is required.

Kindly have your identification with you as our Home-Based Health Screening team will use it to verify your identity.

Are the results of Non-Fasting Health Screening accurate?

Yes it is, local studies have demonstrated that there are no noteworthy distinctions in cholesterol levels between blood samples taken after fasting and those taken without fasting. The use of HbA1C for monitoring glucose is also a widely recognized and established test.

What does it mean for my glucose test in a Non-Fasting Health Screening?

The HbA1C test is employed for diabetes detection by examining sugar molecules attached to red blood cells, providing insights into blood glucose control over the past three months.

In cases of abnormal HbA1C levels, a fasting blood glucose test may be necessary to verify the diagnosis of diabetes or prediabetes.
